"Class War"

  1. I've tried a few times to imagine what it would be like not to have financial need. To be in the one percent of the one percent. To have the cost of things not matter. Strange, very strange life such would be. I don't think we can judge such people by normal standards. The world they inhabit is just too different. Profoundly so. Even to the comfortable upper middles class.
  2. These people are our owners.
  3. Their needs, and wants are not ours. Nor their dreams. We've always had the very rich as we've always had the desperately poor.
Well by "always" I mean since we blundered into agriculture.
  4. With that innovation there followed property central authority, and have's, and have not's. This has been the state of human society for maybe 8 thousand years give or take.
  5. This doesn't mean it has to stay this way.

I think we've come far enough along with just enough educated people spread around the world for it to be seriously questioned for the last several centuries...we're working on it.

"Peoples Court"

As court cases go, the State of Georgia V. Denver Fenton Allen may be one of the most insane legal proceedings in history. After all, it’s not every day a defendant repeatedly tells a judge “go fuck yourself” and “suck my dick.” (The entire transcript is truly a thing of beauty, truly.)

The team at Rick and Morty caught wind of this insanity and did their own re-creation for San Diego Comic-Con back in July, featuring Morty as the Judge and Rick as the world’s most vulgar defendant.

After fan-postings of the animatic went viral, Adult Swim released an official version of the film shown at SDCC.

Now some fans have decided to do an even better version. Using Toonboom Harmony 14, YouTuber tiarawhy took the black and white animatic and animated it in full color. It took two months of work, but it looks just great.

I'm a true "Rick, and Morty" fan. Look them up on YouTube. This dramatic reading of an actual insane case down in Georgia is prime Time Capsule material.

This shit actually did make me laugh out loud. I ain't done that in months. For no other reason than that. I thank the overpaid oblivious racist slacker white boys that put this swell piece of crap together.

"Teleport"

Would that I could use the above Teleportation Gate to get the fuck out of this reality, and go somewhere else. Not 'anywhere' else,...shit could be a Zillion times worse in any number of Alternate realities.

Rather hopefully to a more peaceful plot of real-estate with no property free ice cream, and waffles on demand. A place where the Hippie Kindness Revolution worked out fifty years ago, and everybody is cool.  Below...A "Welcome to Fall" ritual they have over there.

"This Makes as Much Sense as Anything Else these Daze"

"Sino File"

Thinking shit over I mean the race war we're having here, and all...

"IS IT TOO LATE TO SIGN UP TO BE CHINESE?"

"Vignette",...or my life as a Sock Puppet.

A few weeks back I was walking over to the Church of the Holy Apostles. This to speak with the commie lawyers that were helping me with my Senior citizen problems. That, and a hot free lunch the Church gleefully gives to folks.

Well I was crossing 7th avenue on my way to ninth when I nearly passes out. My vision went full tunnel there was a buzzing ringing in my ears I began to mis-step barely making it across the street.

I leaned against the wall of "FIT" ya know the Fashion Institute. It figures in that past life I mentioned. The one which had become an 'echo of an echo". In that other world I had gone here often. Many lectures, and projects all that noise from my former professional life

That day it was as distant, and remote as a long canceled TV series.

I was actually experiencing the effects of malnutrition. Get that ...big "M" Malnutrition. Not merely poor nutrition as I tidied it up when I rarely speak of it.  This was the real deal.

I've endured many things in my life...being attacked several times by gangs of white kids when I was little being raped at day camp constant physical/emotional abuse also as a kid.  Attempting suicide...several times, and not just to get attention.

...I meant it.

Skipping ahead to middle, and late adulthood being caregiver to aging relatives...then losing my house living on the streets for a year. After that, and with no treatment for the homeless PTSD effects, enduring a fratricidal prolonged labor dispute at the radio foundation I devoted decades to.

Finally the near lot of us being laid off because of threatened chapter 11...tell me if I'm boring you...forcefully retired thereby losing my identity, and purpose. Chronic illness. Emotional disability. Also losing so many friends to early death, and lately routinely being fucked over by the department of old farts.

Basically they cut off my meds, and food.

It took six months to get it all back thanks to them neat lawyers the church steered me towards. I brings all this up because besides having to sell almost all my possessions during this recent disaster just to live, see my post "The Famine of 2016", I'm having flash backs, and physical traumas from six months of what my Doc officially just said was prolonged malnutrition.

All this still beats living in Syria or most any place else on this slaughter house of a planet. Still.

Anyway as I sit here I'm eating Dramamine like popcorn to control the constant dry heaves, vertigo, and sometimes serious confusion due the recent famine.

Damn...them spooks at the hospital weren't kidding. It 'will' take months to physically heal from all that noise. I thought a few cheese burgers, and pizza would do it. No dice. Btw I also officially have more as yet untreated PTSD from this stuff as well.

Well it'll have to get on line because I've got years of trauma ahead of it that's also waiting for treatment. I may be able to fit it in sometime in 2019 or so.

...take a number, and wait.

Otherwise I'm still the same swell guy I always was. Anything happen while I was away?

"The Way It Am"...part VI

In response to a post on a friend's FB page. This about have Blacks done 'any' better since the Obama era. Well I couldn't help, but grind out another sermon on the matter.

Having been a Colored person in good standing for some time now. I have to say we're as fucked now as we ever have been. Oh sure a few perks here, and there. I mean I can stand in the front of the bus with everyone else instead of comfortably sitting in back, and can get dragged into jury duty.

Other than that, and the odd sitcom here, and there...we're fucked.

I fear we always will be too. I sit, and watch as other brown ethnic groups happily climb past us on the ladder. Our problems are a tad unique what with being the object of this republic's Original Sin.

There's a weird hate/guilt thing about us.

White folks feel kinda twitchy morally about us, but let the police deal with it.

"Hey com'on" they say. "I have Negro friends,...eh in a way...sort of." Yeah I have white ones too who on the whole have shown their true color when the shit hit the fan. That is with the gleeful exception of my Jewish, Queer, and Commie white pals. They stood their ground. Mostly because the guns are pointed at them too.

I said before not only are we despised, but because of the unique, and extreme nature of our persecution, second only to the actual Genocide of the Native folks, we hate, and despise ourselves. Witness the hair straightening industry, and our slaughtering each other by the thousands each year.
So not only are we getting death, and destruction from outside, but we're doing a hell of a job on ourselves.

You'll recall how a black honor student was murdered in a school yard to the cheers of damn near the whole school.

His crime was trying to be white. ...by excelling academically.

We hold our ignorance, and poverty as virtues now. The same way poor whites hold their ignorance, and guns as holy. So yeah thanks Obama for being there, but it ain't made a shit's worth of difference for most black folks. We remain except for our tiny middle class...fucked, and seem happy to stay that way.

To be continued till shit gets better...for everybody.

"Sign of the Times"

"Changes"

I was out wandering around today. It's healthy to walk even if just a few blocks. This lets you know the world is still there, and your body still functional.

Also you get to see the seasons change. I remember early this spring on a similar walk how the buds were just barely poking up, and the wind had a slight warmth to it. Now as I stumbled about another change.

It was a chilly raw rainy fall day today...just the way I likes it.

Thanks to Planetary Climate Changes we have a longer warm period. It's warm to hot for near six months of the year now. This as opposed to the three to four months of my childhood.

Longer growing seasons which is good in the short term. Higher sea levels  shrinking glaciers, and expanding deserts in the long term.

Swell.

(Btw there's our pal "Bob the Bunny in his fall jacket with me wandering the wet streets.)

Me'n Bob was fine with the chilly winds, and rain...we need the rain anyway. Also my electric bill will go down what with my air conditioner in mothballs till April. Yeah mid-April is when I clean it out, and put it back in the window.

Used to be early June.

As I like to say, "...the Sun, and Moon have chased each other through the seasons, and now Fall has come. Fall with it's cold nights swift winds bright stars, and fiery trees."

I made that up for some story or other many years back. Anyway you comrades be good to each other. 'Be back in a few days.
