We wrecked the world, and even if we wanted to we can't fix it. It's known where this will all ultimately lead. Mass migrations expanding deserts smaller food supply disease Sandy, and Katrina style storms regularly economic chaos even major wars over fresh water.
No body pays attention because it's taking years.
Though not as many as was thought. Our current climate was predicted in the 1990's to be happening late in this century. It's here now 60 years early. Children being born today will live a hellish life in their middle years. That, and they'll spit on the ground on hearing mention of the current generations.
We could have done something as far back as the 1960's, and 70's when the first serious warnings were made. No not to stop it...because it can't be stopped. However we could have made it milder, and prepared infrastructure to withstand it...but we have not, and will not.
I'm rambling.
"Wonderful weather" we're having isn't it. Spring is gone soon fall will vanish winters will be short, and very mild, and summer will be long...very long, and very very hot. "...wonderful weather."
Stay Tuned.
We could have saved the world but we were too God damned cheap.
