Well I was thinking of starting my own religion, but decided to organize an extremist political party instead. I'll call it the Coffee Party..catchy huh? Ya know I figure we can do that demented evil bully boy thing. Deny rationality science, and jokes.
Given the general ignorant venality of the masses I'll probably get catapulted into ultimate hegemony over our ruined totally fucked up nation.
What the hell I'll do with all that power after I shoot all of my potential competitors in the Party, and generally terrorize the masses I don't know, but will think of something.
...eh no I am not the guy they chased out of the Ukraine...honest.

Well of course you're not that Ukrainian crook. He's just a common garden variety kleptocrat. Whereas what you're talking about is really big time stuff - fanatical intolerance, totalitarian control over every aspect of life, and maybe global conquest to boot. Go for it!

Faschomousie's political regime only lasted a dozen years; but insanely repressive religions have been known to keep rolling for sixteen HUNDRED years - partly because they're heavily into real estate. Think in the long term. Think Total Global Domination. Think BIG!

That nazi stuff is okay as far as it goes. It's sorta like what Vlad Putin and his bullyboys have been up to lately. But remember that it's very important to have a spiritual element too. It's not enough to indoctrinate your followers nor even to control their every thought, word and action. You've got to take charge of their after lives too. You need to let them know that on your word hangs the eternal fate of their immortal souls. They should be constantly worried about that, really sweating it. As Bob's Vicar on Earth or the Primate of the ROC or whatever, you get to decide whether they dwell in perpetual bliss or roast in neverending damnation. Now THAT is power! That's what I meant by Total Global Domination. You'll be the absolute ruler of your very own celestial Kremlin.
