"Vote 2016"

Fuck'em all I'm voting for this smug Commie dog. I think his name is "Henry" or whatever. I know nothing about him other than some guy dressed him up like some commie jerk, and posted him online.

Good enough for me.

Considering what's out there. "Henry" is the natural choice for any good hard working American that knows what's good for him.

See how he stares off into our "Golden Future" yep he's our Dog!

Stay Tuned.

  1. Thanks for giving me a reason to vote again Sid! Go Henry!

  2. There should be a huge aureole or sunburst shining out from behind his working class headgear, to show the true all-American greatness of this canine Son of Heaven.

BTW, The Sea Gypsy Philosopher - he's on Blogspot - has lately published a cogently argued piece on why voting is positively harmful, at this point in US history. He's not a fanatic and he's not a grouch. Well worth checking out.

  3. Z: Just took a look at The Sea Gypsy Philosopher's blog. He is a rather boring writer with a very limited scope and lack of depth. Orlov, who also lives on a sailboat, has him beat by a country mile on all counts!

  4. And don't forget "Suelo". And he's not the paranoid wreck that "Sea Gypsy Philosopher" appears to be.

  5. Never heard of Suelo before. I'll check him out. Funny you should mention Orlov; he and Sea Gypsy are friends - that's how I found out about SG. Orlov published a book of his.

BTW, my experience on his blog strongly suggests that Orlov is *not* sound on the subject of sexual politics. Coupla years back he had a guest post by some lefty feminist bigot castigating certain types of "age inappropriate" conduct, and he responded to even the mildest criticism of her post with breathtaking nastiness and censorship. This really put me off him. I acknowledge his brilliance, but I don't really trust him. I prefer the Archdruid.

  6. Okay, I've looked up Suelo and actually it turns out I *have* heard of him - the man who lives without money. I found his interview very inspiring - sort of a cross between Peace Pilgrim and Krishnamurti. It makes me want to learn how I can apply the same principles in my own life.
