"Queer Raptors"

Live Dinos at the old 1964 World's Fair. Sadly they had to be sent back to the Jurassic after the Supreme Court decision on the commercialization of time travel put the nix on all the stuff.

However there's still Black Market Raptors to be had if you got the cash...Michael Jackson is rumored to have had ten of them roaming his estate.

(...of course these things are form parallel earths so don't disrupt 'our' timeline...as for folks in the others...sue us.)

Because of the Court ruling on time travel that oil company had to send their Bronto back into the past where they go her. ...too bad most kids including me at the time really loved her.

In fact that's me there second from the left. It was a real surprise to the family when I grew up to be a Black guy...a Queer one at that.

(Btw sorry for my absence...a matter of my failing health, and general bad attitude.)

Stay Tuned.

(...small font because it started this way, and was too hot pissed off, and lazy to change it...sue me.)

But I still loves ya all...mostly.

  1. Good to see you back Sidney. Sorry to hear about your ongoing health probs. Suffering sucks like a lamprey.

The Supreme Court made the right decision. Time travel's awfully risky. Ray Bradbury wrote an excellent story about this. Just one person stepping on a butterfly way back when can have dreadful consequences in our time, like causing douchebags to be elected president, and dissolution of all our prosperity and civil liberties. Come to think of it, maybe I should be checking the undersides if my boot soles...

  2. Hey Uncle Sid! Good to see you back.
    Get well soon.

Zaek: I prefer the time travel that Samuel R. Delany has outlined in his book Hogg. OK? Let's get that clear.

  3. I haven't read Hogg, though I've seen a synopsis. I'll check it out, if I can find a copy.

  4. I have one of them eBay time machines. It only goes 4 seconds into the future, and 5 seconds into the past. This as mandated by them U.N. Temporal Laws which till recently we ignored.

It wasn't till there was backed up proof that certain Intelligence agencies here, and over seas had radically altered the recent time line. Ever heard of the "Pursuit of Happiness Act"?

    Of course you haven't.

This because the founders of the social movement that brought it about were "disappeared" or directed to other life paths. So the "Right to Happiness" movement that came out of the Civil Rights, and Anti-war movements never happened.

'Business' was saved from being radically reformed to the good of the general population instead of what we now call the One Percent. The former Soviets did similar things to prevent any change in their culture.

Ironically what they did only hastened their fall...but that's another story.
