Well like snakes prairie dogs 'um I think Bengal cats too I'm going to sleep through the hottest part of the day. Which by Emerald City time is now. I was just out to the deli..which didn't have bread!? However it did have over priced cold cuts. Anyway I got cooked out there pretty good.

The direct sunlight temp on my window sill is already 94f. So it's air conditioned siesta time for me. Perhaps I'll be back at sun down. Well that or maybe I'll go to Times Square to finally see that "Star Trek" flick. Hey it's the little things that get us by.

If air conditioning fails, I've often found it helpful during heat waves to take a cool bath during the peak heat of the day. Just in case. Z.
