"More Art Work"

Here are three more just finished pieces from my Art Class at the 92nd Street "Y". These are part of the ongoing series of pieces for my auto-bio picture book.

Art is fun, and uplifting...everybody should do some.

Stay Tuned.

  1. Fine, upstanding queer iconographic art. The ball-jointed boy reminds me of St. Sebastian - er, except for the mandala & the Himalayas.

I'm contemplating an onslaught of art. It'll be in ink, I think.

  2. Sydney,
Since you are getting out and about thought I would tell you I am going to be in NYC from April 14 - 18. Would love to buy you and R. Paul Martin dinner at the Senior Center for Old Queers in Mid-Town Manhattan one evening at 5PM.

I am coming for a Protest at The New York Fed on Tax Day and a party at Jim Brady's Bar across the street from the Fed that same evening. Some of my young activist pals will be there. You are welcome there also. Would be a hoot.

  3. Oh I forgot: I am going to "Finding Neverland" on the evening of the 16th. So looking forward to seeing a Broadway Play .. it has been since 1972 or 73 since I have had that experience. And, how fortunate it will be about J. M. Barrie and Peter and his brothers and their mom.

  4. @ Lukas - I hope the show exceeds your expectations. Have an excellent time, and tell us how it was (or will have been).

  5. I will do that Sydney and also tell you how the Senior Center for old queers is. I am expecting to find some old freedom fighters there.

I've been watching various versions of Peter Pan so I can better relate to the characters in Finding Neverland.
