Did I ever tell you I met Pappy Boyington? He was one of the original Tigers. Got him to autograph his book for me. It was at the big Oshkosh Airshow back in 82. I also met the man who shot him down that same day, Masajiro "Mike" Kowato. He also wrote a book, and I got his autograph as well. Mike's book was much better, and he was a lot more friendly!
