"Class War"

  1. I've tried a few times to imagine what it would be like not to have financial need. To be in the one percent of the one percent. To have the cost of things not matter. Strange, very strange life such would be. I don't think we can judge such people by normal standards. The world they inhabit is just too different. Profoundly so. Even to the comfortable upper middles class.
  2. These people are our owners.
  3. Their needs, and wants are not ours. Nor their dreams. We've always had the very rich as we've always had the desperately poor.
Well by "always" I mean since we blundered into agriculture.
  4. With that innovation there followed property central authority, and have's, and have not's. This has been the state of human society for maybe 8 thousand years give or take.
  5. This doesn't mean it has to stay this way.

I think we've come far enough along with just enough educated people spread around the world for it to be seriously questioned for the last several centuries...we're working on it.
                                                        Stay Tuned.

  1. All civilizations crash and burn Sid. You know that. You also must know they begin their very rapid decline from their peaks, and it was Jared Diamond who said it takes no longer than 10 to 20 years for the whole jig to up up and done with. In the current situation, it may be faster... a lot faster... like maybe tomorrow.

  2. Our fall is a given. That 1% of 1% is quietly getting ready. So is our military. How I wish this was conspiracy nutter bullshit.

Anyway I'm staying, and will chronical all that shit here as long as I have power water, and pizza.

Which means I ain't got a snowball's chance in Hell.
