An Orthodox Jew who stabbed marchers at a Jerusalem gay pride parade 10 years ago launched another knife attack at the same type of parade in the same city Thursday, stabbing and wounding six people who were on the streets for the event, police said.
Of the six people stabbed Thursday, two were injured seriously, Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Samri said.
Police arrested Yishai Shlissel, Samri said.

ReplyDeleteYes, we've entered the dark times. Technically this is the downslope of the declining empire, not yet warlord time for us locally, but the unpleasantness has already begun. An increasingly corrupt and kleptocratic imperial bureaucracy is actually quite a bit more burdensome to support than a few warlords.
When we've really bottomed out, maybe a few centuries from now, knowledge will be lost, if history's anything to go by. No one will know how to read or write. No one will know how to make paper or bind a book. There will be no plumbing. Physics and engineering and mathematics will be forgotten, and you can bet modern medicine will be a distant mythical memory. In post-Roman Britain they didn't even have the potter's wheel. That's a machine with one moving part; yet it was too complex to be retained. And cities - you think there'll be any? All the coastal ones will be under water, and guys like Vortigern and Alaric and Attila and Uther will wipe out the rest.
This is why it's so important for us to create the pervy palimpsests and Dead Sea Scrolls of Inspirational Queer Smut. The scrivening queer monks and archeologists of the future will be counting on us. In potentia, we are the Petroniuses, the Pompeian brothel painters, the forebears of the Winckelmanns of the future.
