"The Light"

These last months these last several years...too many friends leaving. Too many lights going out. Too much cruelty. We sit, and watch as a long cold night approaches. An eternal mid-night which it seems few have the heart to fight against. 

I in my almost 70 years on this planet have 'never' seen times like this. Hope is the spark. We must nurture it into a bright flame. Hope is where it always starts. 

It is the first step back to the light.
