"Step-Step-Kick-Step"

  1. Oh my Sidney,
I was up this morning at 4AM my time and decided to turn on WBAI (Internet)and to my HAPPY SURPRISE there you were ... you voice beginning to come through my headphones.

I cannot tell you how happy this makes me. Now I understand it is only your technician job that has ended. Living poor is good. No it is GREAT.

Just got my folding bike to take on an Amtrak trip to Chicago so I can get around neighborhoods and look. One of these years I will take Amtrak to NYC and take your kind of look around.

Social Security is like being on perpetual paid sabbatical from the University. They keep on sending you FREE Checks. There is a Free Lunch. We are going to figure out how to get more people free lunches.
    Love,
    Lukas

  2. I'll have a pastrami hero mustard, and two pickles to go please.

Unemployment payments, and Social Security..both of which will not be around for the next generation are indeed the American Free Lunch. ...And I'm grabbing with both hands!! Mind you it's our dough we paid into the kitty all our lives, and have every right to bleeping collect...then drop dead.

But before kicking the bucket I'm scarfing down as many of them free lunches as I can!

Yeah I'm still on da radio, and will be till they pry the mic from my ice cold dead hands. It's the principle of the thing. Anyway glad you was out there come again!

  3. Sidney,
I listen every Saturday you’re on and when you are not it is R. Paul Martin I listen to ... most of the time it is that afternoon, sometimes later via the archives. My little connection to NYC and our issue.

I love R. Paul Martin's 13-year-old picture at Coney Island he describes: “Hello sailor, looking for a good time?”

Appreciate you and him ... A LOT!
    Lukas
