Above are two retired Firemen who were in the South Tower just before it collapsed. These are a few images I took of the various memorial events downtown this morning. The main memorial service was by ticket for the public free for survivors of the 9/11 lost.
The last photo in the thread below is of the "Burger King" on Liberty Street. This was used, as many who were there remember, as a temporary morgue during, and after the attacks.
The remains the body fragments of many were initially housed there for identification.
