Peace for The Ukraine Russia Black, and White America Iraq Israel Palestine South, and North Sudan, and everyone else trapped in the eternal midnight of fear, and hatred.
There's a lot going on in the world and it's all extremely depressing. So I'll skip all that for the mo and withdraw into my fantasy la-la land instead. I'm going back to bed. (Dawn came up while I was sitting here.)
BTW, I was in that quake the other night. It was scary.
Hope ya okay dear comrade. My Mom was from the Coast, and she always said, ..."stand in a door way if a quake hits. Which I've done on the rare times the Emerald City gets hit.
The good thing was it didn't last too long. In 30 seconds or less it was over. If it lasts 2 or 3 minutes, you have a big problem. There's no knowing when it will end until it does, and that's the scary part.
I've read that in really big ones, if you're standing outside, you can see the earth moving in waves that come toward you like the sea. I hope I never witness that.
The Emerald City isn't built for quakes. We can barely handle tremors. Nothing big has happened here for a few centuries. Hope the luck lasts. Please take care.
