"IT USED TO BE FUN BEING NAKED ON THE RADIO"

About 250 years ago, somewhere in the early 1980's. A bunch of us trouble makers here at the Peoples Radio station. "WBAI" & wbai.org, used to be naked a lot. It all began when we started going to that nude beach.

See back then in the early 1980's there was a stretch of Jones Beach that was unofficially nude.

...least till that bastard Koch closed it down.

It was swell. We was all young still 20 somethings horny, and, stoned out of our minds on weed coke, and speed most of the time.. This is years before "Crack" was invented by the CIA, and Microsoft.

Our younger viewers may not know that once upon a time cocaine, and other assorted deadly additives was actually very acceptable. It was like beer on the horror list. My what only 30 years can do to values.

If I ever try any of that scary again, well I guess I'll die.. So that's that. I'm a green tea, and veggie man now. Who'd 'a thunk it.

Anyhow we went to that "Nude Beach" every week from mid-May to September for two years,..or was it three.

Thing is we got used to seeing each other naked all the time. So much so that we'd be naked at Wbai while we were on shift,...very spotty air conditioning at the old studios. Anyway our "skyclad" hours were after mid-nite when all the assorted p.c.jerks had gone home to sleep or pray to Stalin.

So at the stroke of 12! WBAI turned into an Anarchist, Lesbian, Queer Straight nudist colony!

Yep it was tits bubble butts, and cocks all over the place. I remember it all as a very happy, and sensual time. We did some of that era's most creative programing too. Ha! It was mostly done Naked, and under the "Influence" so there!

Mind you, those of us from that time that's still breathing, and there ain't that many. Most of us probably would not do a rematch today. Let's say "artistic" reasons. We would not make a pretty picture. Put it this way. Would you want to see ya grandma or grandpa naked,..on purpose I mean. Okay Nuff said.

Aww,..da memories though.
