"Editorial from the Management"

The "DNC" Nation Democratic Committee that blew an election which an empty can of Pepsi could have won. These members are insulated from any harm they caused. Nothing bad will happen to them their families or their money.

No one they know will go hungry or sick without care.

They'll still go holiday to Aspen as they in fact did after the lost election. That, and attend grand balls concerts give fab dinner parties where they'll tell covert jokes about kikes niggers, and wet backs ...as they've always done. They will continue their lives of comfort, and privilege.

This, and after a 'decent' interval become Vichy collaborators with the Trump era. Hence their ongoing oblivious behaviors. As for the tragic comic war of the present administration with reality, and the fact that the press, and so many take this seriously. This is a form of Trench Warfare in which most rational people including myself no longer have any interest.

This current government will implode, and vanish in time. Still I weary of it all. The dreary cycles of mendacity utter short sighted stupidities the petty wants. Basically the same old game in progress. I turn my back on all this. All of it forever. I'll just try to live a good private life till my end. What more can a  soul do?

Stay Stuned if you care to.

  1. Yes, that's essentially the problem with the Dems - they've long since abandoned their base of regular working class people and those struggling unsuccessfully to stay in the middle class; and of course they don't care a fig for the homeless or others who are seriously suffering. They're just another party of Empire. There are scarcely any real liberals left in the American political class.

That's about right, I think. While the Thirty Years War was raging, Vermeer and his colleagues just kept on quietly painting. It was really the best they could reasonably be expected to do.

  2. Oh, another problem with the Dems - they don't learn from their mistakes. Immediately after November's defeat, Nancy Pelosi declared on record that there was absolutely nothing wrong with their platform, so nothing to amend. How brilliant!

I'll reiterate that next to nobody in politics gives a damn about the homeless, the sick, the hungry, the prematurely dying poor. They are friends of the bankers, insurance, real estate, and the military industrial complex. Our situation is Orwellian and Malthusian too.

P.S. - Capitalism is our problem. These problems are structural, inherent to the system, and no package of ready-remedy bandaids conceived along the lines of our current arrangements can fix them.

P.P.S. - Real estate is genocide. About a hundred miles from where I am a village of California Indians were slaughtered in the mid-19th century; 90 to 100 people were killed - men, women and children; then, a dozen years later, it happened again. This was all to open up the region for "development," so we can all pay rent to some fat cat or mortgage to a bank to live on a piece of the same territory, so we don't wind up dying of exposure and despair like those poverty-stricken people I mentioned.

The hippies were right. Fuck the system. Let those leave it who can.
